What is the Workforce Development Board and Employers’ Training Resource?
The Workforce Development Board oversees Employers’ Training Resource which is funded from the Department of Labor through Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), through the National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP), and State of California workforce grants for employment and training programs.
Employers’ Training Resource is a department of the County of Kern and acts as the administrative arm for the workforce development programs and services for Kern, Inyo & Mono counties.
Employers’ Training Resource is a proud partner of America’s Job Center of California and works in partnership with over 20 other local community partner organizations to address workforce and training needs.
Employers’ Training Resource offers employment and training services to many job seeker audiences and to local employers. All services and programs are offered through WIOA funding and are available to you at no cost.
