What services and information are available for current and potential training providers?

Employers’ Training Resource (ETR) contracts with authorized training providers to provide customer-focused employment training for dislocated workers, adults and youth. Training providers may offer a variety of training options, including in-person classroom, online, hands-on and apprenticeship type programs.

These provider contracts are coordinated through the State's Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and the area's local WDB (Workforce Development Board).

Your first step to becoming an authorized training provider for ETR is to get your training organization onto the State of California’s Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL).

If you are interested in becoming a local training provider for the Kern, Inyo & Mono counties consortium, ETR, please contact Melanie Miller, Contract Administrator, at (661) 336-6953 or email her at millerme@kerncounty.com or visit our RFP/RFR section of our website for upcoming opportunities.
