RFP / RFR Application Process
What is a Request for Proposal or a Request for Re-Funding and How do I Apply?
The Kern, Inyo and Mono county Workforce Development Board oversees Employers’ Training Resource(ETR) , a Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) federally funded agency provides various employment and training service and programs. Through the matter of business, vendors that would like to become sub-contractors in providing employment and/or training services to participants enrolled with ETR need to apply through a Request for Proposal (RFP) initially, and then through an Request for Re-Funding FR if requesting to be re-funded on contract.
RFP and RFR proposals are posted publicly on our website and in local newspapers. Each RFP and RFR describes the program funding and requests the necessary information and details from the party applying to be funded.
Please visit our website often to review current RFP / RFR opportunities.
